AIM-AHEAD is seeking mentors for its 2025–2026 Training Programs! Apply by November 28, 2025, by 11:59 PM ET, to be considered for this opportunity.
Selected mentors will receive a stipend of $4,000 for supporting two trainees, or $2,000 for one trainee, within a single training program during the 8-month program period (December 2025 - July 2026). Mentors will meet twice monthly with assigned trainees, providing career guidance, professional development support, field expertise, and advice.
Eligible mentors should hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree (e.g., PharmD, DNP, DrPH) and be affiliated with an organization, such as an educational institution, private sector organization, or community organization. Mentors must reside in the United States or U.S. territories throughout the program.
Successful applicants will be matched with trainees based on their skills and experience. The mentor application opened on October 17, 2025, and it will close on November 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. Selected mentors will be notified by December 12 and will attend a Mentor Orientation in the third week of December before mentoring begins in January 2026.
Additional Notes:
- Mentors may provide mentorship for only one AIM-AHEAD program during this period.
- AIM-AHEAD-funded Coordinating Center personnel or awardees (MPIs, PIs, Co-Investigators, trainees, and other personnel) are eligible to apply, but will NOT receive the stipend if accepted.
- Previous AIM-AHEAD mentors may reapply; feedback from past mentees will be considered during selection.
