The Linton-Poodry SACNAS Leadership Institute (LPSLI) provides premier training for motivated STEM professionals from populations that have been historically excluded and, as a result of exclusion, are underrepresented in STEM. Professionals interested in advancing their leadership of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all sectors of STEM (academia, industry, and non-profit, and government), are encouraged to apply now through April 22, 2022! About the Program
Accepted applicants will engage in an experiential training with their cohort for 5 days, including:
- Workshops to explore topics such as Leading Change, Emotional Intelligence, Implicit Bias, Leadership Development Planning, and more
- Career-stretching insights through a 360 degree assessment
- Mentorship and lunches with distinguished leaders
- Upon program completion, enter a network of 300+ alumni who are creating stronger, more inclusive STEM environments at academic institutions, nonprofits, government, and for-profit science companies
The Details
- Program Dates & Location: 5 days in July (tentative July 17-22, 2022), In-Person in Washington D.C.
- Eligibility: Must be a STEM Professional.
- Program Investment: up to $2,500
- Participants are encouraged to work with their company/institution to support up to a $2,500 cost share – representing only 25% of the total cost of this program.
