Description:

The Center for Global Health’s Operational Policy and Training Team (in the Overseas Operations Office) seeks an ORISE fellow to gain practical experience in the collection, management, and analysis of program data. The selected fellow will:

 

     1. Design and administer staff surveys, including training needs assessments

     2. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, disseminate findings, and make data-informed recommendations

     3. Manage training registration data, course and offering data, and certifications in the HHS Learning Portal

     4. Coordinate training offerings with external vendors and enter vendor-supplied training requests in the CDC University system

     5. Work collaboratively with SharePoint developers to customize training registration process and manage registration data

     6. Become proficient in several software applications, including: MicroSoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office 365, Survey Monkey, Saba/HHS Learning Portal

 

Requirements: Masters degree within past 2 years

Period: 12 months with option to extend; estimate start date Aug 1, 2019 (flexible)
