The Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust (PRSRTT) has created a collaborative space in its Ponce office so that entrepreneurs affected by earthquakes can continue operations. The space, located in the annex of the Department of Labor and Human Resources in Ponce, will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM while the emergency lasts. The spaces are limited, so those companies interested in using the facilities must request the space and fill out an initial needs survey through http://bit.ly/coworkingPonce.
The Department of Economic Development and Commerce is planning the development of a program that would bring together initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico and that would follow the model of Start Up Chile.
