The “New Venture Design Experience” (NVDE), is an initiative from the project “Pathways to Innovation”. This interdisciplinary effort brings together students from multiple colleges from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. These students take courses and work on a project to develop products, services and processes that are marketable and provide societal benefits.

Más de 50 estudiantes de diversas facultades trabajaron juntos utilizando técnicas de Design Thinking para identificar retos en la rutina matutina de los puerto-rriqueños y diseñar su solución en menos de 48 horas.(Suministrada)

The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez celebrated the first Weekend Design Challenge (WDC). More than 50 students worked together in a Design Thinking workshop during 48 hours on Ausut 15 and 16.
