Ciencia Puerto Rico

Professor of mathematics at the University of Puerto Rico. My main interest is in mathematics education. Recently I published a book about mathematics learning, "Matematica con sentido: su aprendizaje y ense~nanza" in the University of Puerto Rico Editorial(2010).
I'm also interested in education in general. From 2001 to 2002 I was Under Secretary of Education. Based on that experience I wrote a book (2006) "Muchas reformas, pocos cambios" Editorial Ediciones Puertorrique~nas
