Assistant Professor at Ponce School of Medicine. I belong to both the Dept. of Physiology and Pharmacology and the clinica Psychology.

Research interest: Sex differences in mood dissorders and response to drugs of abuse.

Current project: Interactions of opiates and estrogen in the hippocampus of female rats.

Techniques: Immuhohistochemistry, electrom microscopy, behavioral assessments.
