Ciencia Puerto Rico

For my short term plans in clinical practice I would like to continue working with young adults. I’m currently in the process of applying for my internship year and I wish to be in a site that works with young adults and adults. I would like to continue working with students in a university campus.

I’m also looking forward in short and long terms doing research in the clinical area. I’m really interested in the pathological and the ways we can improve mental health. I’m also very interested in the study of the human psyche; better understanding of it will lead us to better treatment.

In the future I also hope to work in academia as a researcher and professor. I have expectations of doing work on campus and developing an educational psychology organization, with the purpose of creating awareness of mental health. I believe in promoting prevention and treatment of mental health.
