Project Info:

Molecular epidemiology of dengue virus in Puerto Rico. Design and development of molecular diagnostic tools for dengue and chikungunya. Co-inventor of the CDC DENV-1-4 Real Time RT-PCR Assay; the only molecular test approved by the FDA for the diagnosis of dengue in human patients.
