My current research interests relate to the study of quantum materials. In particular, I am interested in studying quantum phase transitions. My research aims to experimentally probe one of the most theoretically studied systems in magnetism: an Ising ferromagnetic chain in a transverse magnetic field. I have also continued my doctoral research in magnetoelectric multiferroics – materials that exhibit magnetic and electric order, typically in the same phase. I anticipate a broader study of quantum materials throughout my academic career in physics.
