Ciencia Puerto Rico

I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that underlie complex neurodegenerative disorders. Specifically, I am most attracted to those that represent the most concern to our society and for which there is no form of prevention or treatment. My research experiences in the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and Harvard Medical School have sparked particular interest in the field of Alzheimer’s disease research. As a future graduate student I am searching for programs that enable me to perform from basic to translational research in a high-quality research setting, and established faculty with strong background in the field.
