ADA Energy Project
September 2011 to present · San Juan, Puerto Rico
The company history, I grew up watching my father working in the fuel industry. He was a driver for a company that sold petroleum products. Upon graduating from High School in 1984, I started to work with my father as a truck driver. There I learnt the basics of the petroleum products business. In 1986 we purchased a truck, with the portfolio of clients, and started working from our home garage. Our monthly sales at that time were 20,000 gls per month. In 1989 my father's company began with my 8 siblings as it's employees. The name of the company is JJ PETROLEUM CORP. The company currently has 14 fuel trucks, 6 gasoline stations, and about 60 employees. The company is averaging over 2 million gallons of fuel per month. From September 2011, I started creating a proposal seeking new conditions for JJ Petroleum. Today this has become an economic development plan for my family and for Puerto Rico. The project: Renewable Fuel Standard for Puerto Rico. www.rfsforpr.com
