Canadian IBRO Neuroscience School, May 22-June 1, 2007 in Toronto,ON, Canada Toronto, 2007 The School will include a series oflectures, case presentations, a journal club and general educationsessions for scientists (e.g. grant writing) as well as labdemonstrations of in vitro and in vivo experimentation. It willprovide young promising trainees from Africa and South America (Doesthe Caribbean exist???) the experience of attending a scientificmeeting, followed by a one-week specialized neuroscience school inToronto, Canada. Course applicants should be fluent in English(written/spoken), have a degree in basic or clinical sciences and afamiliarity with basic neurophysiology and other disciplines closelyrelated to the main subject of the school. Students will be selectedon the basis of their academic records, publications and writtenstatements concerning their interest in Neuroscience and what theyexpect to get out of the School and optional lab visits. The numberof students is limited to 15 so that student selection will becompetitive and based on the information provided. Priority will begiven to IBRO alumni. The School will support travel expenses,registration cost for the CAN-INMHA meeting, meals and accommodationexpenses. Deadline: Application: March 8 to March 16, 2007 .
