for Early Career Scientists

Sponsored by ASM and the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS), this prestigious award enables one outstanding young scientist to present their research at the 2013 FEMS Congress in Leipzig, Germany, July 21-25, 2013.

Applicants:

  • Current ASM Member;
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.;
  • Current PhD (or equivalent) student or a recipient of a PhD within the past 5 years.
  

Benefits:

  • Present your research at one of the world’s premier scientific meetings;
  • Recognition in ASM and FEMS publications;
  • $5000 towards expenses to participate in the 2013 FEMS Congress.
