The University of Notre Dame's Center for STEM Education invites applications for the 2015 cohort of the Trustey Family STEM Teaching Fellows program. This program seeks to foster continuous improvement in STEM teaching and learning in our nation’s schools. Fellows participate in three annual, two-week summer institutes on campus at the University of Notre Dame and two academic years of content-specific video coaching, and mid-year gatherings at interesting sites of STEM innovation. The program is fully funded and selected Fellows receive a stipend ($6,000 over 2.5 years) to participate in the program.

We are recruiting the 2015 cohort from teachers of the STEM disciplines (math, science, and technology teachers, specifically) in grades 5 – 8. Individual teachers will select either a science or math track in which they will focus on improving their own content knowledge and instructional practice. Prospective Fellows will apply as school-based teams of no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 teachers. School-based teams will develop a program for that directly seeks to improve student interest and learning in STEM in their context.

Application Deadline: March 31st
