The Department of Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) is soliciting applications for a new faculty member studying the biology of cancer; this position is open at any level (tenure-track or tenured). Rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. Potential start date is July 1, 2017.

We seek candidates whose research addresses molecular and cellular mechanisms related to in vivo cancer biology, with a primary focus on human cancer or mammalian models. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to) the genetics and epigenetics of cancer, cancer genomics, tumor-host interactions, tumor metastasis, tumor immunology, and mechanisms of tumor initiation and progression. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide leadership in the field of cancer biology at the university in the future. A Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent degree in Molecular Biology or a related field is required at the time of application.
