Genetics/Biotechnology Position
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. GENETICS/BIOTECHNOLOGY. Tenure-track position starting Fall 2013. Requirements include: Ph.D., broad expertise in general genetics and biotechnology. Postdoctoral experience and expertise in population/evolutionary genetics are advantages. Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for teaching undergraduates and willingness to develop a research program involving undergraduates. Teaching responsibilities will include lecture/lab courses in genetics and biotechnology for biology majors, and participation in the university's Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Additional expectations include academic advisement, service to the university, and continued professional development.
