Kempner Institute Research Fellowship

The Kempner Institute for the Study of Natural and Artificial Intelligence at Harvard University is recruiting a new cohort of Kempner Research Fellows. This 3-year fellowship offers: 

• Independence to set your own research agenda

We seek candidates working on:

• Foundations of intelligence, including mathematical and computational models of intelligence, cognitive theories of intelligence, and the neurobiological basis of intelligence.
• Research and development of new AI or ML methods or models from an engineering perspective as well as scientific studies focused on understanding deep learning. This includes the development of novel applications of AI, including LLMs, generative AI, computational biology, and analysis of high-dimensional neural and behavioral data.

Candidates must be in their final Ph.D. year now or have received their degree no earlier than 9/1/2023.
