What: Union of Concerned Scientists' The Science and Democracy Fellowship (6 months, May-November, honorarium of $4,500 + project funds)

Who is eligible:
Graduate schools, scientists'/engineers/public health networks, etc. in Maine, Montana, Missouri, Nevada, and North Dakota 

When: 
Applications are due by midnight eastern time on March 12, 2018

How: 
Do you know young scientists/experts or scientists from a non-traditional background who are eager to lead a community of local advocates, but would benefit from some additional training and resources to be effective? Please tell them about this opportunity. The 6-month fellowship runs from May to November 2018, offering a $4,500 honorarium, $1,000 grant for community actions or events, leadership development and training opportunities, and advocacy tools. Applications are due by midnight eastern time on March 12, 2018.
