Installed the calendar module, date API, feed API and iCal Parser, mapped date fields to content type Event and importated ics google export.  Check it out and let me know if everything looks okay.  There is a secondary block for "upcoming events."  It is a useful block, but I'm not sure it should go on the front page.  Let me know how you want the calendar and upcoming events blocks to work and appear.
