The B-BRITE summer internship program seeks highly motivated upper-level college students interested in exploring biomedical research as a career path.

We offer an 8-week paid summer internship experience conducting a guided biological or quantitative cancer research project at our campus in beautiful Portland, Oregon. Our program will run from June 23 to August 15, 2025.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2022 summer internship programs in biomedical research at the NIH. Internships generally cover a minimum of eight weeks, with students arriving at the NIH in June.

In 2022, we hope to welcome summer interns in-person to our NIH campuses; this is dependent on the course of the coronavirus pandemic and we will update information and the website as soon as we have definitive information.
