Venus, una jóven dedicada al estudio de murciélagos.

Venus, es una jovencita de 14 años con una gran pasión por el estudio de los muerciélagos en Puerto Rico. En tan temprana edad, brinda charlas, talleres y demostraciones a estudiantes y público en general sobre el cuidado e importancia que poseen estos dispersadores de semillas. No tan solo eso, los murciélagos son los únicos mamíferos con la capicidad de volar efectivamente. Admemás, son parte importante del balance ecológico de Puerto Rico. Por esto y muchas cosas más, Venus desea convertirse en científico para continuar con el estudio de estas criaturas. Tuvo la grandiosa oportunidad de presentar parte de su trabajo en 'California to the North American Symposium of Bat Research (NASBR)'

SESYNC (the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center) is offering a 2.5 day workshop, July 28-30, to explore how social media data can be used to study socio-environmental systems.
