My name is Alondra Isabel Burgos Villodas and I am 17 years old. In August of 2019 I will start my bachelors in biology at UPR-Cayey. I chose biology because it is truly amazing how it can help us understand how and why things are possible. During my academic years I have participated in four science fairs. The first two being descriptive and the last two being experimental. My first science fair talked about the causes of global warming, and the second was about how the human cerebrum works. In my last two science fairs I grew crystals out of different types of salt. The first one was growing crystals with four different types of salt and seeing which one grew bigger. The last one was growing crystals with copper sulfate using the seeding method. Generally, I would say I have always loved the science field and how intricate it is which is why I find it so endearing.
