I started my career at Princeton University in the Astrophysical Sciences Department. I provided technical support to visiting astrophysicists on the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory (OAO-3) satellite. After several years, I landed a job in Houston, Texas at NASA-Johnson Space Center’s Mission Control Center (MCC). I joined the team of software developers who computerized MCC operations for the flight controllers. I supported the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs in various jobs such as software engineer in Mission Operations, Human Factors, and Staff Engineer in Operations Planning. I have been an active participant in space history.
