Sobre Mi:

I graduated from Pharmacy School, Medical Sciences Campus University of Puerto Rico on August 2000.
On January 2003, after three years of working as a pharmacist I started the PhD Programm at The UNiversity of Mississippi, Pharmacognosy Department .

I expertice is on isolation and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites from natural sources like plants or marine organisms.
I'm working on two terrestrial plants using bioassay guided fractionation to isolate bioactive compound against human pathogenic bacteria MRSA. I also performe xenobiotic biotransformation with yeast and fungi to elucidate new metabolites.
