Andrés F. Calle resultó ganador con su propuesta enfocada en mejorar la dureza y las propiedades térmicas de la soldadura que se emplea mayormente para usos aeroespaciales.

Andrés F. Calle Hoyos, student at the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico in (RUM), received an award for his poster (Experimental Design Analysis of Stir Casting of Enhanced Aluminum Filler Reinforced with NbB2 Nanoparticles) at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) conference in Anaheim, California.
