The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) High Performance Computing for Manufacturing (HPC4Mfg) Internship Program is a 10-week summer internship program for students majoring in a field related to high performance computing.

La doctora Maribella Domenech García, catedrática del Departamento de Ingeniería Química (INQU) del

Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez (RUM) de la Universidad de Puerto Rico (UPR), recibió una subvención de $1,398,145 del Instituto Nacional de Salud (NIH), para desarrollar modelos celulares predictivos de respuesta a terapia para cáncer de seno.
