Con el propósito de fomentar el interés por la biotecnología, el tercer anual Ignite Biotech Summer Program auspiciado por Fundación Amgen se llevará a cabo del 5 al 16 de junio. 

Necesitamos 18 mentores con experiencia de laboratorio.  Habra un estipendio de $600 para cada mentor.  Favor dirigirse a: http://www.ignitebiotech.com/proctor/

Around 140 students from public schools participated in the event "Robot Makers", sponsored  by the Industrial Development Company. The event is meant to stimulate entrepreneurship and teach at early age the importance of developing Puerto Rican companies based on STEM.

Between megaphones and slogans, signs and lab coats the Puerto Rican scientific community joined the March for Science. This international movement that took place on Earth Day sought to defend the role of science in society and in pubic policy decisions.

Soy Peter Rosado y trabajo en GCSU.

Me gustaría ver si puedo establecer algún tipo de colaboración sea científica o educativa. Una de mis pasiones es motivar a estudiantes jovenes (nivel secundaria, superior, subgraduados) a perseguir una carrera en las ciencias. La educación científica es otra de mis pasiones.

The Polytechnic university and the Caribbean Astronomy Society will host a conference to discuss solar eclipses and discoveries that have implication on the search for extraterrestrial life. The event will take place on Thursday, April 20 at 6:00 pm at the Polytechnic University.
