Applications open October 16 - January 15!

This 10 week paid fellowship places scientists at media organizations such as the Washington Post, WIRED, Slate and NPR to work as science journalists for the summer. Mass Media Fellows use their academic training in the sciences as they research, write and report today's headlines, while sharpening their abilities to communicate complex scientific issues to the public. The Fellowship experience broadens the fellow's career path while increasing the public's understanding of science and technology. Students and postdocs in science, mathematics and engineering are eligible to apply.  We also place Spanish speaking scientists at Univision and CNN Español.  For additional information about the program visit aaas.org/mmfellowship or email rcorlew@aaas.org.
