Applications for the 2021 cohort are now open. Applications are due by June 24, 2021.

The Allen Institute for Brain Science Next Generation Leaders Council includes early career investigators and postdocs who act as advisors and ambassadors for our mission of using big science, team science, and open science to accelerate understanding of the brain.

To make the greatest impact on neuroscience and understanding human health, the Allen Institute recognizes the need to increase the diversity of voices within our teams and our external advisory councils. We acknowledge that minority voices are underrepresented in science, and are actively working to recruit underrepresented minority applicants by expanding awareness of the program to new audiences and encouraging diverse applications. We aim to provide opportunities within the Allen Institute for underrepresented minorities at all levels of our organization. We ask for your help by sharing this application broadly in your communities and encouraging People of Color to consider applying for this unique opportunity.
