The goal of the Biomedical & Bioinformatics Research Internship and Training Experience (B-BRITE) is to inspire curiosity in the next generation of research scientists by engaging qualified college undergraduates to consider research-related careers and providing them with initial experiences required to be competitive for science-related graduate education programs and careers in the future.

We offer an 8- to 10-week paid summer internship experience doing a guided biological or quantitative cancer research project at our campus in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

The Knight Cancer Institute and Oregon Health & Science University value the benefits of having a diverse scientific workforce. We encourage applications from students identifying with groups historically underrepresented in the sciences, as well as first generation and students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.

More information about this internship program can be found on the attached flyer and at our website.
