Deadline:

Friday, 9 March 2018

Dear Colleagues:

The deadline has been extended to March 9.  As before, full support is available, but the applicant must request the support since we had to add a tuition charge due to the lack of the NIMH grant.  It looks as though bridge funding from NIMH is coming through, so we would like at least 15 students.  The SPINES program led by Gina and Carmen is really terrific, with Kevin Jones taking charge of hands-on experiments with a zebrafish psychopharmacology coupled with extensive use of MatLab.  Professional development sessions designed to create the new leaders of a diverse neuroscience workforce;  hence, the change in the name to “Summer Program in Neuroscience, Excellence, and Success.”  For more info, see http://www.mbl.edu/education/courses/spines/. The new SPINES also has a full sized lab on the second floor of Loeb, along with its own break room and a classroom in Loeb.
