OPEN House: Early Career Faculty Awards and Opportunities
Zoom Registration
The NINDS Office of Programs to Enhance Neuroscience Workforce Diversity (OPEN) invites you to take part in a virtual OPEN House focused on NIH awards and opportunities available for early career faculty. During the first half hour, we will present NIH awards and resources open to early career faculty, including the Diversity Faculty K01, Diversity R01 for New and “At-Risk” Investigators, and ReWARD R01. We will also share opportunities for clinician-scientists. In the second half hour, attendees will be invited to go into breakout rooms where they will have an opportunity to ask questions on the different mechanisms as well as programs that support faculty, including:
- BRAINS: Broadening the Representation of Academic Investigators in NeuroSciences
- San Diego Leading the Advancement of Underrepresented Neuroscientists for Change (LAUNCH) Program
- Diversifying CNS: A Longitudinal Mentoring Approach to Increase Diversity Among Researchers of Neurological Disorders
- Mentoring Institute for Neuroscience Diversity Scholars (MINDS)
- SEE-Diversity (Scholarships to Enhance and Empower Diversity)
Early career faculty, clinician scientists, and postdocs are strongly encouraged to attend. Please contact Dr. Anahid Ebrahimi (Anahid.Ebrahimi@nih.gov) if you have any questions.
