The UCS Science Network is launching a science advocacy mentorship for early career scientists; the Science Network Mentor Program. They want to bridge the gap between your academic pursuits and your passion for advocacy, policy, and social justice.

Through the Science Network Mentor Program, you will design and implement an advocacy project on an issue that is important to you. An experienced Science Network Mentor will provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to maximize the impact of your project.  And there’s more—you will also get access to tailored tools and resources that sharpen your communication and advocacy skills.

Learn more about the eligibility criteria and see examples of projects you can design. If you have questions, please email Shreya Durvasula, Science Network Senior Outreach Coordinator at sdurvasula@ucsusa.org

Take advantage of this unique opportunity and join me and other inspiring early career and more established scientists. Apply today.
