In a letter sent to the Planning Board last February, the director of the US Fish & Wildlife Service in the Caribbean, Edwin Muñiz, expressed his unhappiness with the new plan and special rules proposed by the the Board and the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources for the Northeastern Corridor. He is concerned that new this plan will threaten the delicate ecosystem and endangered species that make the Corridor their home.
