FusionWorks, in partnership with Codetrotters Academy (the first programming school in Puerto Rico), will provide a scholarship for two students to participate in a 10 week programming course.

The Kinesis Foundation announced the availability of the Kinesis Scholarship for Puerto Rican students who wish to complete undergraduate or graduate studies outside of Puerto Rico. En su misión de fortalecer la conciencia ambiental entre los jóvenes del país, Fundación Toyota convoca a los universitarios a solicitar su beca universitaria. La ayuda económica busca impulsar la formación de futuros profesionales que aporten al entendimiento y la preservación de los recursos naturales de Puerto Rico.

Si eres una estudiante de noveno a duodécimo grado en escuela secundaria y te interesan las ciencias de cómputos, considera solicitar para este premio. Si conoces a una jóven con estas cualidades, sugiérele que solicite y apoyala en su solicitud. Varias jóvenes de Puerto Rico han ganado este premio en el pasado y esto les ha abierto las puertas a estudios en disciplinas relacionadas a las ciencias de cómputos y carreras en estas áreas.

A group of students from several campuses of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) received fellowships from Rock Solid Technologies. The Rock Solid 2015 fellowship recipients were:

Melinda Vargas Ramos- Majoring in Computarized Math at UPR- Humacao

Juan Octavio Cortés Mulero- majoring in Accounting at UPR- Humacao

Javier Ruiz Vélez- majoring in Accounting and computer Sciences at UPR-Rio Piedras

Alberic Dávila Cadilla- majoring in Computer Sciences at UPR- Bayamón
