Student Nicole Noemí Román Correa, who will begin her fourth year this semester in Software Engineering (INSO) at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Mayagüez Campus (RUM), received the Generation Google Scholarship for Women in Gaming 2022. The group of students from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus that represented Puerto Rico in the southern regional competitions of the American Society of Civil Engineers, won the majority of the awards, including the prestigious Overall for the concrete canoe and steel bridge.
