Now approaching its ninth summer, the Amgen Scholars Program continues to offer undergraduates the opportunity to collaborate with faculty at top institutions on cutting-edge scientific research. In addition to ten renowned U.S.host institutions, we are excited to announce that U.S. students may now apply to be Amgen Scholars at leading institutions in Japan: Kyoto University, and The University of Tokyo.

3era Conferencia en Biotecnología Aplicada, ABTech 2014

Estimados Colegas:

El Programa de Biotecnología Industrial del Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez como parte de sus iniciativas de impacto, comenzó en el año 2011-12 con las Conferencias en Biotecnología Aplicada, (ABTech). EL ABTech 2012 fue aplicado a la Biotecnología Verde, el ABTech 2013 estuvo aplicada a la Biotecnología Roja.

Recently, she has been the topic of many conversations. Dr. Belinda Pastrana-Ríos is a distinguished professor from the University Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (UPRM), who recently announced the establishment of a biotechnology patent for an early biomarker of pancreatic cancer.
