Sagrado alumna is selected by the National Academy of Sciences. Scientist Ivette Perfecto stands out for her research focused on the biodiversity of agricultural landscapes.

Her research focused on the biodiversity of agricultural landscapes led scientist and Sacred Heart University alumna Ivette Perfecto Rivera to become one of the newest members of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in the United States.

NAS members serve - pro bono - as advisors to the nation on science, engineering and medicine.
