Call for Donations of Medical & Laboratory Reagents, Materials & Supplies for COVID-19 in Puerto Rico

Ciencia Puerto Rico is collaborating with the Puerto Rico Public Health Trust to collect donations of much needed medical, clinical, and laboratory supplies, materials, equipment and reagents to help in the detection, treatment and management of COVID-19 in Puerto Rico. Please answer this brief survey to indicate which materials you might be able to donate.

Response for students and STEM educators to the emergency of COVID-19

Given the recent natural disasters and the public health emergency that we are facing, Ciencia Puerto Rico continues to be committed to the educators and students of Puerto Rico, who have seen their teaching and learning process interrupted, first by a sequence of earthquakes and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. This new crisis (the third in last three years) highlights how important it is to develop strategies and tools that ensure the continuity and resilience of the education system.

Disponibilidad de Clon de Reverse Transcriptase

Amigos, un miembro de nuestra comunidad que se encuentra dando apoyo en los esfuerzos de detección de COVID-19 en Colombia, nos comenta que la enzima Reverse Transcriptase está escaseando en ese país.

Si alguien tiene un clon o cultivo de E.Coli expresando RT, o si tienen alguna otra manera de ayudarlos a conseguir la enzima, los científicos de Colombia se lo agradecerían.
