Design a Brain Experiment Competition for 9-12 students ($500 prize)- Dana Foundation

The Dana Foundation invites you to participate in the sixth annual Design a Brain Experiment Competition. Individual high school students or science classrooms can submit their best brain experiment designs to competition@dana.org for a chance for your school to win a $500 first place prize and a $250 second place prize.

The Kinesis fellowship sponsored by Fundación Kinesis, grant funding to High students to pursue careers outside Puerto Rico. In the past students have completed their degrees in Harvard, Cornell, Syracuse, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Universidad Autónoma Valencia and Charles University in Prague. Kinesis also has the ProgramBright Stars College Access for students in high school that are planning to obtain bachelors degrees outside Puerto Rico.

Scientists from Puerto Rico's biomedical science research institutions offered demonstrations and interacted with 150 students from public and private schools around Puerto Rico during the 13th International RCMI Symposium.  The main goal of the activities was to develop the students' interest in health-related careers, particularly those focusing on decreasing health disparities in local communities.
