Durante este curso se discutirán aspectos importantes del control biológico de insectos plaga y sus beneficios. Se definirá el concepto de control biológico y los diferentes tipos que existen.

 Además se discutirán las características principales de varios organismos que sirven como controles biológicos y cómo se pueden producir.

Three new bee species were discovered in the southern crop zones of Puerto Rico by the Peruvian ecologist, Sara Prado. These new species are being investigated to better understand their habits and contributions to the ecosystem.
