My name is Jilibeth Torres Sotomayor and I am from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. I recently graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras where I obtained a Bachelor in Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I also completed a minor in Medical Humanities. My fields of study perfectly reflect one of my deepest beliefs: medicine as both a science and an art. Currently, I am an aspiring medical student working through the medical school application process. Aside from medicine, I am incredibly passionate about sports and traveling. My favorite sport is baseball and my favorite place to travel to is New York City.
