I have over ten years of experience in marine aquatic studies, including benthic mapping and field survey for marine habitat assessment, seawater and sediments sampling, ecological measurements, and oceanographic surveys logistic. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Oceanography from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez Campus with a specialization in Marine Biogeochemistry and I have the opportunity to publish more the 40 articles and publications regarding marine and estuarine sciences. Currently, I serve as the Scientific Director for the San Juan Bay Estuary Program where I leads multiple environmental projects including mangrove reforestation, artificial reefs deployment, coastal dunes restoration, and water quality monitoring, among others.
