Ciencia Puerto Rico

My work has focused on a systems approach to the study of projection neuron identity throughout development and evolution. Currently, I am carving a niche linking neural circuits, synapses, and RNA by combining sequencing and microscopy. The gaps I hope to fill are to implement spatial transcriptomic data to in-vivo imaging to evaluate circuits, synapses, and molecular dynamics on a temporal scale. Moreover, I foster a kind, energetic, inclusive, and cooperative environment.
