Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry with a Minor in Linguistics from Iowa State University. Currently, I am a second year graduate student in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program at Penn State University, College of Medicine.
Our lab focused on the study of lung inflammation associated with air pollution, with particular emphasis in sex differences and the role of sex hormones. We use a combination of molecular biology, immunology, and endocrinology approaches to study hormonal regulation of gene expression networks in response to environmental insults such as ozone.
