My M.Arch thesis titled Principles of a Biotectonic Culture was completed at the School of Architecture of the University of Puerto Rico. It receives the Jaime Cobas Award in 2010 and was recently recognized by Thinking-In-Practice | Cecil Balmond Studio at London as the most outstanding research intertwining art, science, design and technology (competition Grand Winner - 2013).
BioTectonica R&D Studio has been severaly published as a novel architecture studio fostering the crossover between science and design in order to engineer new building's technology for the Caribbean natural hazards.
