About Me and Project Info

About Me:

I have 25 years of experience in higher education. I was a Mathematics Professor at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in San Juan, P.R. since 1988 to 2013. I worked as Principal Investigator on different US Department of Education grants and NSF grants. Directed the Department of Natural Scieces at Sagrado from January 2011 to July 2013.

Since August 1, 2013 I am the Director od Special Projects at Texas Tech University Whitacre College of Engineering in Lubbock, Texas.

Project Info:

I direct Special Projects for the Whitacre College of Engineering at Texas Tech University. These projects will increase diversity and cultural experiences in the College, increase the number of female students and minority students that enroll in engineering degrees.
