The UCLA Public Health Scholars Training Program is a CDC funded workforce development program aimed to engage and expose undergraduate students to the field of public health with the goal of increasing the diversity of the public health workforce. Over the course of 8 weeks (June 19- August 13, 2022) students participate in internships with community partners 3 days per week and educational programming 2 days per week. During the summer, scholars attend a conference at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia with Public Health Scholars from other programs across the nation. This is a paid internship, with students provided housing and stipends.

*Non- public health majors highly encouraged to apply

Applications open Monday November 1, 2021 and close Monday, January 31, 2022.
