The Meharry ENVIT Program is a 10-week virology research training that includes didactic lectures in fundamentals of virology and career-development topics for a virology-focused research and education career. The overall goal of “Enhancing Virology Training (ENVIT) through Summer Research” is to prepare and increase the number of underrepresented minority (URM) students in virology-focused careers through didactic, hands-on, mentored, and career-development training.

PEP is a ten-week intern program hosted by six Woods Hole Science Institutions in collaboration with the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore (UMES). The program targets undergraduates (especially rising juniors and seniors) and runs May 31 through August 7.  

The Georgia Tech Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) is now accepting applications. 

We are currently accepting applications for the Diversity Science Research Experience program at the University of Washington under the direction of Sapna Cheryan, Stephanie A. Fryberg, Cheryl Kaiser, Cynthia Levine and Kristina Olson. Our ten-week internship program (June 17 – August 23, 2018) prepares undergraduates to apply to graduate school and engage in the research process firsthand.
